Are Assisted Living Facility cost's deductible?

The good news is that some or all of the costs of Assisted Living and Alzheimer's care may be tax deductible.

How do you choose an Assisted Living Facility?

You should first start with a tour of the facility! They are 100% free and this is the ONLY way you will see the inner workings of a facility. We also advice seeing how easy it is to get in touch with the facility nurse/medical team and facility management. It will be easy to access the facility marketing/sales team, but make sure you can get in touch with the people that will be directly overseeing your loved ones care. Ask about the staff to resident ratio. At Amazing Grace , our staff to resident ratio is 1 staff per 3 residents from 8am-8pm and 1 staff for 6 residents 8pm-8am. This is, by far, industry leading in Palm Beach County!
